A Tip for Parents Wanting Their Kids To Get The Chores Done

without comments

To be honest there is some bad news about chores & our children. But when we actually sit down & think about it it’s common sense.  We give our children lists  of chores, we expect them all done, but then thats it its world war three & not much gets achieved.  chores are usually a source of frustration – tantrums, screaming matches, grounding’s & other punishments. We all seem to forget the facts of life. Our wonderful little children are not born with the skill’s it takes of being all clean, keeping their rooms tidy, or being helpful when needed, We also seem to forget the fact these skills just don’t come naturally.

But there is some good new’s on the subject. Chores are an important part of growing up & of children playing their part in the  family unit. Chores provide important opportunities for our children to learn all about teamwork, it also teaches them about responsibility for actions taken, it also provides life skills important for survival later on in life when they leave the family home & head out into the big bad world.  It is really important to have regular chores as your child will also learn how to develop appreciation  for completing a task & seeing a job well done. Especially after you show your appreciation even if the job is not quite up to standard this time, over time they will get better with your love & praise. And to be honest if they only clean 1/2 the mess they made, it’s only 1/2 the job left for you to do, which is surely better than before.

Lets inspire our children they are our future not put them down.  Lets change the world one family at a time. Cause at present the future is looking pretty bleak for the kids growing up today. Keep an eye out for my next blog.

Personality Development And Experience

without comments

As humans, we live and learn. No one is born perfect; everyone tries to improve themselves in some way or another as they live and progress throughout their lives. The word we use to describe this process – that of living and learning – is ‘experience’. We say that one person is ‘experienced’ and another is not. The scales are always tipped favorably toward people who are experienced and it is almost taken for granted that they will be more effective in the things that they do. Experience is something that defines all of us.

But how does experience come? If you are doing something for ten years, is that experience? Most people would agree with that, but you must know that experience is not just ‘living’ something; it is also about ‘living and learning’. So, if you are working for 10 years in a particular field, but you haven’t learned anything about the ways of its working, you cannot really be called experienced.

There are several things that you cannot learn from the books; you have to learn them from your direct involvement with them. Like, you can only ‘see’ a recipe in a book, but only when you really prepare it, you understand the finer points of the recipe. Even if you stick to the letter, you might not be able to cook something as perfectly as a master chef. But with practice you know where things are going wrong, and you make those little changes that matter much, and improve. This is where you become experienced. Cooking is just an example; in every field of work we learn and improve in this manner, accumulating our experience.

In specific fields, such as in developing your own home based business, it becomes very important to learn from the experience of senior members. Learning from experience is a wholly different ballgame. Here, you are becoming experienced yourself, on hyper-drive. You are expediting the ‘living’ process and are ‘learning’ faster. The best thing is that with activities such as a home based business, you do get a lot of senior guidance and hence you stand to learn from their experience in a very considerable manner. After all if you try to re-invent the wheel you will add years to a 2 – 5 year project.

The most important thing is that experience influences your personality to a very great extent. You may have physical panache right from your early days, but it is not until you really go through something and add what you have learned to your personality can you improve it.

What you need to learn, therefore, is that it might not take time to succeed, but if you do give it time, you have a better chance of succeeding at anything. The word that we hear so casually thrown about – ‘experience’ – really has some significance after all.

How To Perfect Your Comp Plan So That It Sounds Unbeatable To Your Prospects

without comments

Last night you were so excited you signed up into your own home based business opportunity. But now it’s the next day and now you are feeling like so many other people have felt before you, can you build a business & that the plan is indeed a bit complex. This happens quite a lot of times. When people join a new home based business opportunity, they are more interested in knowing about what they can get. They do not spend a lot of time thinking about how they will go about it. That is why such cases happen sometimes.

But, there are ways around this problem. Most home based businesses will allow their leaders to tweak things a bit so that it suits their scenario better. You might want to do that if you want to reach out to your prospects in a better way. Tweaking and customizing is something that can connect you better with your prospects.

One of the first things you must do – even before you join a particular home based business opportunity, actually – is to find out as much as you can about the plan. Read it thoroughly, check out all the material that they have prepared on it, ask questions to know better, the works. Spend time understanding everything that you can. When you know the plan better, you can understand it better.

Some leaders are quite forthcoming. You could ask your leader to be your dummy prospect for once and you can try to convince them to become part of your plan. Such a mock prospecting rehearsal can put things in perspective for you. You gain confidence and you begin understanding where the kinks are. Later, you can work out with the leader and arrive at proper solutions for these problems.

But the maximum effort is yours and yours alone. Once you have understood the plan, break it up into parts. Make points and notes as you go along. Then systemize them in the manner in which you will prospect your clients. You can have a flowchart sort-of thing that can help you progress from one point to another. Just a tip – if you lay bare the advantages of being in the plan early on, followed by what they will have to invest, the prospecting generally works.

There are such things you need to do. Understand, prepare, rehearse, modify. When you do this in a systematic way, you will find that you are able to make the plans simpler for your prospects to understand. Experience, of course, matters. As you prospect more and more, you will find that you are doing things much better.

If you have an interest I have a great e-book for $5.95 Aus on the subject of maxamizing your comp plan includes some exciting bonuses as well .

Secrets Of Finding High – Probability Business Opportunity Prospects

without comments

First off, what is a high-probability business opportunity prospect? Simply put, a high-probability business opportunity prospect is one who is interested in becoming part of your business and not just that, they are also interested in working to bring more people in to the business. Now, there is no measuring system to find out who of your prospects are high-probability and who aren’t, but there definitely are some key indications that you need to watch out for.

Keep one thing in your mind. If you are stuck with a lot of low-probability prospects, they will simply waste your time. Even after chasing them for a while, they will not be interested in joining your business, probably due to certain preconceived notions. If you have such prospects around you, you should give them a miss if you have other prospects that you can try out. Even if these prospects do join, they will usually not be of any constructive help. They will not try determinedly to bring in new people. This is simply because they are themselves not convinced about the whole thing, so how can you expect them to convince others? Such prospects are best left alone. Sorry but to put it bluntly you may end up regretting having them as a partner in your business.

So what are the secrets of finding high-probability prospects? For that, you need to do an analysis of the prospect either before you meet them or when you meet them for the first time. You have to try and find out certain things about them, some of which pertain to their personality traits.

See whether they are open to change. Most home-based business opportunities require open-mindedness. People with a closed, narrow-minded approach will be detrimental to your pursuits. I will reiterate again you will have regrets. You could directly ask them how comfortable they are with change.

Check out what kind of base the person has. The base refers to the social group of people that they move around with. If a person is a part of a club, for example, or a business leader, it is a great idea to have them in your business because they can influence others. Such people will also be open to change.

You could also see how willing the person is to put in some hard work and effort. See how convinced they are about the home business idea. If these factors are positive, you could be sure that this person would be an asset to your business.

Most importantly, check out their personality. If they are easygoing, friendly and have an inspiring and motivating personality, you should try to talk them into joining your home based business opportunity. It would give a new lease of their life and would be a great boost to your business too.

Why Opt-In Marketing Can Be One Of The Greatest Strategies To Implement For Your Home Based Business

without comments

Have you ever signed in on a website and then been directed to a page containing a list of the website’s partners where you were asked to check the services you are interested in? Usually these are related services to the site you are visiting and the message might run something like one of the following – “Are you interested in getting more information on the following subjects?” or “ Fill out this form to get your Free E book.” There is no indication that the services do not belong to the website itself, but they are partner services. But you do have a choice to select some of them or none at all. If you select, you get emails from those services which you either ticked to start providing you with some information or asking you to take some action, which could be as simple as visiting their website.

If you have experienced such an activity, then you are already aware and have experienced what opt-in marketing is all about. When you tick the services you are interested in, you are opting into those services. When you do that, the emails that you get are usually a part of their email marketing campaign. The intention is to convince you to buy a product or sign in as a member to some of those services.

Consider this carefully. Opt-in marketing is a wonderful way of marketing in which one popular website helps another. If a website is already popular and seeing a lot of traffic each day, you would probably agree partnering with them in some sort of opt-in association seems to be a very good idea. Out of the large volume of traffic that the website gets, your home based business venture could also profit if you enter into an opt-in relationship with them. They will have to do nothing at all, but to ask their members at signup if they want to know about a genuine moneymaking opportunity on the Internet. Once they confirm by ticking the box, you are free to send them information. This is obviously not construed as spam because your opt – in visitors have asked for the information themselves.

This is a great way of generating targeted leads. Even if you pay as much as a dollar per opt-in, it really helps. If the website is very popular, you will have to pay more.  Of course most marketers in the online world have heard about opt-in partners paying as much as $39 to their hosts per opt-in! That only shows how lucrative this partnership can be.

If you are using opt-in marketing, be sure to use auto responders to give the people opting into your opportunity a rapid communication. This helps them to be more convinced about your services. Once the opt-in route has been created, it is up to you to convince the members to join your home based business opportunity or buy your products. But as you are getting highly targeted leads, this is definitely one of the best strategies there is to promote your business opportunity or products.

5 Important Rules in Website Design

without comments

When it comes to your website, extra attention should be paid to every minute detail to make sure it performs optimally to serve its purpose. Here are five important rules of thumb to observe to make sure your website performs well.  It’s just a quick read but if you follow these quick tips you will ensure when you get your targeted visitors they want to come back to your website & even pass your link to others.

  • 1) Do not use splash pages

Splash pages are the first pages you see when you arrive at a website. They normally have a very beautiful image with words like “welcome” or “click here to enter”. In fact, they are just that — pretty vases with no real purpose. Do not let your visitors have a reason to click on the “back” button! Give them the value of your site up front without the splash page.

  • 2) Do not use excessive banner advertisements

Even the least net savvy people have trained themselves to ignore banner advertisements so you will be wasting valuable website real estate. Instead, provide more valuable content and weave relevant affiliate links into your content, and let your visitors feel that they want to buy instead of being pushed to buy.

  • 3) Have a simple and clear navigation

You have to provide a simple and very straightforward navigation menu so that even a young child will know how to use it. Stay away from complicated Flash based menus or multi-tiered drop down menus. If your visitors don’t know how to navigate, they will leave your site.

  • 4) Have a clear indication of where the user is

When visitors are deeply engrossed in browsing your site, you will want to make sure they know which part of the site they are in at that moment. That way, they will be able to browse relevant information or navigate to any section of the site easily. Don’t confuse your visitors because confusion means “abandon ship”!

  • 5) Avoid using audio on your site

If your visitor is going to stay a long time at your site, reading your content, you will want to make sure they’re not annoyed by some audio looping on and on your website. If you insist on adding audio, make sure they have some control over it — volume or muting controls would work fine.

BUILDING YOUR SELF ESTEEM: A STARTER GUIDE TO SELF IMPROVEMENT

with one comment

So how do you stay calm, composed and maintain self esteem in a tough environment? Here are some tips you may to consider as a starter guide to self-improvement.

Imagine yourself as a Dart Board. Everything and everyone else around you may become Dart’s, at one point or another. These darts will destroy your self-esteem and pull you down in ways you won’t even remember. Don’t let them destroy you, or get the best of you. So which darts should you avoid?

Dart #1: Negative Work Environment Beware of “dog eat dog” theory where everyone else is fighting just to get ahead. This is where non-appreciative people usually thrive. No one will appreciate your contributions even if you miss lunch and dinner, and stay up late. Most of the time you get to work too much without getting help from people concerned. Stay out of this; it will ruin your self-esteem. Competition is at stake anywhere. Be healthy enough to compete, but in a healthy competition that is.

Dart #2: Other People’s Behaviour Bulldozers, brown nosers, gossip mongers, whiners, backstabbers, snipers, people walking wounded, controllers, naggers, complainers, exploders, patronisers, sluffers, losers… all these kinds of people will pose bad vibes for your self esteem, as well as to your self improvement scheme.

Dart #3: Changing Environment You can’t be a green bug on a brown field. Changes challenge our paradigms. It tests our flexibility, adaptability and alters the way we think. Changes will make life difficult for a while, it may cause stress but it will help us find ways to improve our selves. Change will be there forever, we must be susceptible to it.

Dart #4: Past Experience It’s okay to cry and say “ouch!” when we experience pain. But don’t let pain transform itself into fear. It might grab you by the tail and swing you around. Treat each failure and mistake as a lesson.

Dart #5: Negative World View Look at what you’re looking at. Don’t wrap yourself up with all the negativities of the world. In building self-esteem, we must learn how to make the best out of worst situations.

Dart #6: Determination Theory The way you are and your behavioural traits is said to be a mixed end product of your inherited traits (genetics), your upbringing (psychic), and your environmental surroundings such as your spouse, the company, the economy or your circle of friends. You have your own identity. If your father is a failure, it doesn’t mean you have to be a failure too. Learn from other people’s experience, so you’ll never have to encounter the same mistakes.

Sometimes, you may wonder if some people are born leaders or positive thinkers. NO. Being positive, and staying positive is a choice. Building self-esteem and drawing lines for self-improvement is a choice, not a rule or a talent. God wouldn’t come down from heaven and tell you – “George, you may now have the permission to build self esteem and improve your self.”

In life, it’s hard to stay tough specially when things and people around you keep pulling you down. When we get to the battlefield, we should choose the right luggage to bring and armours to use, and pick those that are bullet proof. Life’s options give us arrays of more options. Along the battle, we will get hit and bruised. And wearing bulletproof armour ideally means ‘self change’. The kind of change, which comes from within. Voluntarily. Armour or Self Change changes 3 things: our attitude, our behaviour and our way of thinking.

Building self-esteem will eventually lead to self-improvement if we start to become responsible for who we are, what we have and what we do. It’s like a flame that should gradually spread like a bush fire from inside and out. When we develop self-esteem, we take control of our mission, values and discipline. Self-esteem brings about self-improvement, true assessment, and determination. So how do you start putting up the building blocks of self-esteem? Be positive. Be contented and happy. Be appreciative. Never miss an opportunity to compliment. A positive way of living will help you build self-esteem, your starter guide to self-improvement.

Using Automated Lead Generation Methods For Your Home Based Business Venture

without comments

A lot of emphasis is put upon lead generation in most types of business.  And we all know that in the home business arena most people consider most home based business opportunities to be a numbers game and hence having a list of interested people, who are called leads, becomes important. Home based business leaders pursue these leads so that they get interested to join their business, which leads to the growth of the business. For this reason, leads become very important.

At the same time, it is important to mention that it is a very time-consuming and difficult task to get leads. In most cases, the leads that most home business owners buy or get are randomly generated and most of them are untargeted. These are the leads of people who are not actually interested in the business. Surely, it is an uphill task to get these people interested in the opportunity. What are needed are targeted leads – information of people who really want to join into your particular business opportunity. When people are genuinely interested in an opportunity, it takes only a little push to get them into the opportunity.

Another thing about leads is that you need a system that won’t take a lot of time. It is impossible to sit and find out leads from the Internet manually; you need a proper system to do that. That is why most home based business leaders use automated lead generation strategies. These are the norm for most home based business over the Internet today.

This method of automated lead generation is quite simple, but it does take some initial effort. One example is of having a blog. If you have a high-ranking blog where you speak about your home based business opportunity in general, and provide some specific information in the form of an eBook, you will get a good amount of traffic. In order to download the free gift, you could make people pass through a squeeze page where they are supposed to put in their email addresses. Voila, that’s your lead!

The plus point with such a lead generation tactic is that you are getting targeted leads. These are people who have come to you for information and not the other way round. Your method has been completely non-intrusive for them and they will be happy to get more information from you.

Also, the method remains automated. You are only running your blog. You are not actually collecting leads. The squeeze page system is doing that for you.

If you want more methods to collect targeted leads. You can use websites, forums, Squidoo lenses, article marketing, email marketing and various other tactics to bring targeted home based business leads for your business opportunity.
